High-speed automatic splicer
2026/07/18
High-speed automatic splicing refers to a process where the entire splicing operation is completed automatically while the paper web is running at high speed.
When the paper roll currently in use reaches a specified diameter (usually referred to as the old roll being exhausted), the machine automatically and accurately bonds the paper webs of the new and old rolls together. It then promptly cuts off the web of the old roll and seamlessly feeds the new web into the printing unit. Since the paper web never stops during high-speed automatic splicing, continuous paper supply to the printing section is maintained, eliminating the need for a web accumulator.
